Pet care experience
I have owned big and small dogs since I was a child so I am familiar with all sizes of dogs. I have trained and walked my own dogs daily from when they were an energetic puppies until they were slow moving seniors. I have also been on many walks with a professional dog walker. Additionally, I cat-sit my family's cats so I am familiar with cats as well. Pets are so much fun, however I understand that it is a huge responsibility to care for one, and through my life-long experience with animals I take this responsibility very seriously. Through my walks and time with a professional dog walker/boarder, I am well-versed in what to do in emergencies, how to prepare to care/walk a dog, and the best practices to make sure the pet is safe. My goal is to treat treat your pet with the same love and care I treat mine.

My last Rover experience was a last-minute cancellation that left me without a sitter. Although I'd had good experiences to that point, I'd been hesitant to try again for fear of a repeat. Stephanie set me at ease immediately. Despite her repeated apologies for being slow to respond, I found her to be very responsive to my initial request and follow-up Q&As. After confirming with her partner, she accepted the booking. We reconnected a day or two before my trip and made arrangements to drop Stella off near her unit. I was a little late to both drop off and pick up, but both times Stephanie was friendly and accomodating. I received daily photos and reports; just enough, not overwhelming. She put up with my dad-joke replies like a champ. There were some concerns when Stella wouldn't eat, but I shared a few tips for getting her to eat and they worked. No other issues arose, and when I picked Stella up again she was in good spirits and probably healthier than when I left her. The entire experience was smooth and pain-free. I'm hoping that stars align and Stephanie can become my regular sitter. Thank you!!!
second time we’ve had stephanie watch keira and it was just as good as the first time. keira immediately remembered her even though it’s been 4 months. she sent tons of pictures throughout the weekend and took her on walks and had frisbee sessions multiple times a day! we will always be going to stephanie :)
Stephanie is just the best! The care she showed for my two dogs was very impressive. She showed a great attention to detail by asking about my dog's feeding patterns, and if they had any behavioral issues to be aware of. She provided frequent photo updates, and responded in a timely manner. Would definitely use her again in the future.

I live in an apartment with my boyfriend so your dog will get double the love! My dogs do not live with me (my childhood dogs live with my parents) so your pet will get all the attention from me and my significant other! We do live in an apartment, however it is very pet friendly and there are several parks nearby that I like to go to. I would also love to take your dog on a hike if they need to burn off some extra energy!

I do not have any breed preferences, but I would like to know their typical walking/eating schedule before pet sitting. I would also like to get to know the dog a bit first before pet sitting, and a description of their temperament. Some important questions I have: Does your pet take any medication? Is your pet allowed on furniture at home? How often does your dog go on walks? Are there any anxieties or negative triggers I should know about?
A typical day
My apartment has a nice green walking area that we will walk through, as well as a nearby public park. There is also a nice wooded trail near by that is fantastic to walk dogs through. I live close by Green Lake, so if it is a nice day I love to walk around the lake to burn off some more energy. I also love hiking, so if your pup is able to I would love to take your pup on a hike. *During a stay with me* I provide FREE pick up and drop off services, which makes boarding with me a breeze! I will also take your dog on a hike or to the dog park if your pup is energetic! My boyfriend and I are home all day, so you can rest easy knowing you have to two people watching your pup all day. You will receive daily pictures of your pet and lots of updates if you are interested. I absolutely LOVE baking, and can bake your dog some scrumptious treats if their diet allows! Your dog is free to go anywhere in my apartment including the couch, but just not on the bed :) *What I need from you* I will need your pup's bed/crate, food, food bowls and feeding schedule (if you have one), leash/collar, and any of your pup's favorite toys so they can feel at home during their stay with me :)
