As a pre-teen I joined the family in 4-H where the focus was on dogs. It was then that I learnt the basics of grooming, training for obedience and the sport of agility. I often participated in local dog shows, AKC shows, with both large & small breeds. Throughout the years, I have house-sat numerous times, taking great pride in walking, feeding, and providing endless amounts of affection to the home owner's fur babies.
