Pet care experience
I've had pets (mainly dogs) my whole life. In that time frame, we've had a slew of different health issues arise, where I had to learn skills to administer a wide range of medications, ointments, etc. We had dogs ranging from 35lbs, to 140lb Mountain dogs. I believe that dogs should get atleast three walks a day, and need lots attention, love, and play time. A great source of my happiness comes from making sure my "Daughter" (canine) and “sons” (feline & canine) have the happiest life I can give them. I even make homemade birthday treats for them and have little parties for them, as well. Animals are my world. I wouldn't want a life without them. Both of my "kids" are rescues/strays. I believe in the "adopt not shop" methodology. Helping save and better the lives of all animals is my passion. My sweet Millie passed away on March 26, 2019… I don’t have the heart to remove her from my profile. I do ask that owners make requests with a minimum of 48 hours notice, please. Also, rates may vary per individual depending on distance, extra time, and special requests.

Stephanie is the kind of pet lover that bakes her dog a birthday cake and makes sure her fur babies have gifts on Christmas morning. Her priority in life is making sure her animals are the happiest they can be because they bring her so much joy. My Yorkie, Mika, adores Stephanie. She just has that way with animals where they trust her. Stephanie is the one you want taking care of your four-legged family members while you’re away because she’ll treat your pets like one of her own and ensure they are loved and happy.
Whether it's rescuing weeks-old kittens from a window well or taking care of her own furry crew, you can trust that Stephanie will exercise kindness, compassion, and responsibility -- not to mention physical strength! (She's an exercise buff with muscles and cardio for days, so even larger breed dogs should be well in-hand.) I've always said, there are three types of people in this world: People who are not "animal people," people who are "animal people," and people who would sacrifice their last dollar -- and probably have -- taking care of an animal that they may or may not even know ;) Stephanie is totally a card-carrying member of the last camp, and I wouldn't want anyone less committed taking care of my animals.
Stephanie is a wonderful person and an excellent dog caregiver. She takes great care of her dog (and other pets) and has gone out of her way to help rescue homeless animals. Stephanie is a total animal lover and I would recommend her to anyone.
Steph is an incredibly responsible dog caregiver. She's conscientious, kind, and reliable. She goes above and beyond for every animal that she interacts with, and I absolutely recommend her services.

I travel to each “client’s” home and follow the parents’ instructions as well as give them extra attention and love. My goal is to alleviate as much of the anxiety our furry children feel when Mom and/or Dad aren’t able to be there.

A typical day
I like to play with whatever toys are provided as well as explore any areas of the respective neighborhoods that will provide exercise and visual stimulation for them. I also take the time to get to know each dog, cat, etc and let their personalities tell me how to interact with them.

Availability
Animals are my life, and my passion. To be surrounded by animals all the time is my happy place. I care for my two boys every day… walking my dog Charlie a minimum of 3 times daily (if not 4-5) and clean my Louis’ litter box daily. They also both get their respective preventative health regimen of ear flushes, dental care prevention, nail trimming, baths, etc.
