About Me: My pets I currently care for eight of my own pets at home. Two small dogs, two long haired cats, two rabbits, and two Cockatiels. In the past I have kept and cared for just about every type of dog and small critter under the sun. I grew up with working breeds. From there I had both Sight and Scent Hounds and a Corgi. And now I have my two tiny breeds. I have also kept and cared for cats, rats, gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds (both large and small), as well as various types of snakes. Volunteer experience and prior professional experience with animals My background is primarily in veterinary nursing. I am a certified veterinary nurse capable of and willing to care for special needs pets. I have other experience in light grooming, rescue and rehab, and working in kennel environments as well. From an early age I have obedience trained all of my own dogs as well as dogs for a few select clients. If this is something you are interested in, please feel free to enquire. Combined I have about 20+ years experience working with animals of varying sorts in both my personal and professional life. Work and/or school Working with animals has always been my greatest joy and passion. Currently I split my time between pet care for clients and working as a private driver. My schedule always remains flexible so that I am able to devote the time and care to the animals that they need and deserve.
