Pet care experience
I've been taking care of dogs for about 10 years. I never even knew I liked dogs until I adopted my first one! The thing that sets me apart from other caretakers is that I literally want nothing more than the companionship and love that your pets will give me. I work with humans full time in the summer, it is nice to have a break from that in the later months and give your pets all that special one-on-one time, just as I would my human customers!

There are no words to describe what an amazing job Stephanie did caring for our 3 dogs for almost a week while we were away for Spring Break. She maintained a consistent schedule and went above and beyond to keep us updated and to ensure our babies were well cared for and loved. She has a true passion for animals and it really shows. I am so thankful for her and could not recommend her anymore!! Thank you so much Stephanie!!
Stephanie was wonderful! I was gone longer than ever before in my furbabies' lives and Stephanie took excellent care of them. Matter of fact, they seemed kind of disappointed when I came through the door...?

I live in a secluded area, off a well-known road very close to Lake Lanier. I do not have a fenced in yard, however I have lots of space for your babies to run. I am able to crate at least one large dog also.

A typical day
We live within a five-minute walk to Lake Lanier! We can take safe, off-road trails to the lake any time, winter included! We can play with all the tennis balls and sticks your heart desires!

Availability
As you can probably imagine, 2020 and Coronavirus really hurt the businesses that require outsiders to enter your home. This has unfortunately caused me to return to my summer seasonal job, which means less opportunities for animal care, which is my number one priority! I will be back in the full swing of things after Labor Day. Until then, I hope you will bring your furry babies to come meet me at Pelican Pete's!
