Pet care experience
I’m currently a full time vet student at the RVC! I volunteered at an animal shelter for 2.5 years. I was a dog walker for 6 years on and off. I own 2 dogs back at home in the states. One of them is 10 so I know how to care for older dogs. I live with 3 other dogs in my house (housemates’ dogs).

Stephanie is THE person you want to care for your dogs. She is not only a vet student and very knowledgeable about dogs, but she also has adopted two dogs of her own and trained them to become well-behaved and loved members of her family. She has ample experience caring from dogs in various settings (shelters, vet clinic, etc) and is truly so passionate about dogs. I highly recommend her.
Stephanie is an Excellent Rover! She took great care of my dog while I was away. Took tons of pictures, gave me consistent updates, and was very responsive! My dog love Stephanie! Will be using Stephanie in the future!!

I typically let the dog roam around the house freely. If they’re not house broken, I’ll close certain doors. I let the dog out in the yard as needed, but if they don’t alert me, every 2 hours. Typically okay to sleep on the bed if preferred

A typical day
In the morning, we’ll go for a minimum of 30 min walk. Play and chill at home throughout the day until the afternoon walk. I’ll let the dogs out at least every 2 hours. I enjoy play fetch with balls and other toys! Sometimes we even engage in enrichment activities that stimulate the brain!

I’m a full time vet student. I’m flexible - I can do school remotely if needed. If not, I can come home between lectures to check up on the pets.
