Pet care experience
I currently do not have pets in my home so all my love and attention will be directed towards your pet! Dogs with separation anxiety do great with me; I love spending time with the pets I sit for and try not leave home (unless I have to) when I'm boarding/housesitting. I have a lot of personal pet care experience living with and looking after pets (puppies, senior dogs, cats/kittens, and rabbits) that belonged to my friends, family, roommates, and my own. I've also cared for both sick cats and dogs. I always maintain dedicated attentiveness, friendliness, and tenderness.

Steph is just the best! This was the second time she sat for our finicky little guy and she took such great care of him, our home and all the plants too! She is an excellent communicator, sends great updates and photos. We could relax on vacation knowing our dog was under her care. I can tell my dog had a great time and really misses her too ❤️❤️
Stephanie took amazing care of our Sheltie and she sent us photos every day of their walks. Highly recommend her for taking care of your pups.

I'm definitely a homebody most days, so your pet will have constant companionship and attention. I live in a spacious one bedroom apartment near many public parks and trails. I can provide all pet essentials and feed, walk, do enrichment activities, pet/cuddle, and play with your pet. I've also had experience administering pet medication. I can crate your dog if needed.

A typical day
If toys are provided, I will always try to play with your pet, especially tug of war and fetch. There are many unique trails near my house (near the UC Berkeley campus) and I always try to take the dogs I’m watching. There are different trails for high energy puppies and more relaxed trails for older dogs.

Availability
I work remotely from home, so your pet will definitely receive a lot of attention, supervision, and care throughout the morning, day, or evening. I really value the time I spend with animals, so I usually almost always stay home when I’m sitting for a pet. Being active and going on walks/hikes is already part of my daily/weekly routine—furry companions would only make them better!
