Pet care experience
I've owned labs, huskies, and blue heelers - a mix of personalities and I've loved every one of them! I also started fostering in 2020 and have loved seeing those pups come out of their shell and become great family pets! I have a lot of experience with overly energetic pups, those with behavioral issues and special needs. I'm also a registered nurse who cares about people and truly believe dogs carry a special bond in many lives! I love being outside and can always use a running partner - assuming your dog likes exercise. We're taking this opportunity to care for multiple breeds of dogs in order to make the best selection for our next family pup! Both my husband and I have grown up with dogs and carry that love of animals into our own family now. We have a big back yard and plenty of space to play and run. We have miles of paths in and around our neighborhood and live within a few miles a fantastic fenced-in dog park.

Stephanie and her family took great care of our dog!
Stephanie was amazing. Bella is an older dog (16.5 years old) and Stephanie was very attentive of her needs and making sure she was comfortable, which included keeping Bella separate from younger dogs when she knew they would be too much for her. Stephanie was very responsive and sent lots of updates along with photos (which this dog mom LOVES!). I highly recommend Stephanie and will be using her again in the future. THANK YOU!

I usually bring or invite the pups wherever I am—my “office” is located in our guest bedroom, so a lot of dogs enjoy lounging on the bed while I work ;).

I have no breed preferences - I'd just like to know if your dog has any nuances to be aware of - i.e - afraid of strangers, other dogs, food guarding, allergies... etc.
A typical day
We have many paths in and around our neighborhood, including two smaller lakes to walk around. We are within 3 miles of a great dog park, which is fully fenced. If the weather is bad - we have a treadmill - which I've trained all my dogs to use. A well-exercised dog is a happy dog!

Availability
Both my husband and I work from home on varying weekdays, so one of us is always around! We seek opportunities to bring pups with us anywhere we go, but if that isn’t an option, then we do crate while we’re away.
