Pet care experience
I have experience taking care of my own pets for the past 30 years, as well as fostering animals for the local shelter when my schedule can permit. I’ve watched friends, family, and acquaintances pets for the past 9 years, always giving lots of attention and care.

Stephanie has watched my dogs numerous times, and there is a reason we trust her with our "babies"...they love her! She stays in our home so they aren't alone at night, walks them and plays with them, makes sure their diets are stable, and loves them almost as much as we. I can't say enough...Stephanie is a trusted companion for our dogs, but trusted by us to do exactly what we, and the boys, want. Her moving to a new city was a hard blow, but her new clients will be so lucky to have her.

My own dog, Sgt. Pepper, comes with me. He is a very chill 9 year old chihuahua/Shih Tzu mix, neutered, doesn’t bark, always fully vaccinated, and lovvesssss other dogs and cats! I do not have a yard, but take a minimum of 4 walks a day, and more as needed. I will meet your dog at their level, whether they have the lazy bones or need a hike, I’m up for it. I also am comfortable working with diabetic dogs, as mine is as well. I can go about that however you feel comfortable, following your exact guidelines.

Your pet must be comfortable with my dog, as he’ll be coming along with me. He is a very chill little dude who loves dogs and cats. We do prefer dogs on the smaller side but am I am open to larger breeds on a case by case basis. I’m happy to separate the animals if your prefer, but would love to discuss the best option for you.
A typical day
We wake up around 630/7am, go for a walk, eat breakfast, and then I go to work. I come home at lunch to go on a 30 minute walk. After work we go for another walk, and then dog park. Then it’s dinner time, and after that we go on another walk. Then we finally relax! Right before bed, we do anither short walk/last bathroom break, and go to bed around 11pm. Weekend are more relaxed, with less frequent walks, but longer in duration. Beach trips and hiking adventures happen frequently as well. Snuggly and laziness also happens.

Availability
I work full time, but take a long walk with my own dog before work, at lunch, after work, after dinner, and if demanded, any other time when I’m home. I go the dog park daily (but can avoid this), and love hiking with my pup as well (but can avoid this).
