Pet care experience
Hello! I am a biology student at FAU looking to make my love of dogs into a career. I have over 20 years of experience with dogs of all shapes, sizes and needs. I grew up in a family that has always rescued animals to give them a second lease on life. I have experience with all breeds and needs (including cats, rabbits and reptiles!). I currently have a senior rescue (18 lb. Mix) that loves having dog friends over to play with! I understand that dogs are so much more than our pets. They are our family members and I treat every dog like the precious angels they are.

Stephanie was fabulous! She stayed in our home and took care of our Aussie rescue for a week and it all went well! She is great with Red, who can be a handle at times :-) She sent regular updates and photos and both house and pup were in perfect shape when we returned. When our flight was delayed, she immediately offered to stay late or another night, whatever we needed! Stephanie is reliable, smart, and we highly recommend her!

I treat every animal with the love and respect they deserve! I also treat your home with the same respect! I love to take long walks with your babies! If they need any additional care I am ready and willing! There’s nothing I enjoy more than cuddling on the couch with them watching a movie or having them help me study! Spending quality time is important and I aim to make them as comfortable as possible while you are away! Each animal is different and I take the time to learn from them and love them.

A typical day
I love to take long walks and play with the dogs as much as they want. I also enjoy just “hanging out” while they rest up! Each dog is so different which is what makes them so great!

Availability
Am I currently a full time student and have lectures that I have to attend. Depending on the day I am usually on campus any where between 2-4 hours. I have a few regulars that I do walks for Monday-Friday and those walks are an hour. I am always free to hang out with them in the evenings. Every dog has different needs and I love to discuss time away from the dog during our meet and greets so expectations are met. I believe communication is key when starting a dog sitter/ client relationship!
