Pet care experience
I’ve always been an animal lover. I grew up taking care of our own family dog and cats and I now own a senior morkie. I usually connect very well with everyone’s pets and to me, it often feels safer to be around pets than other humans due to their genuine lovable and trustworthy characteristics. I would love to take your dog for regular walks and become their new friend. I would also love dog, cat, or other pet sitting when you need to leave for a little while. I have always wanted to become a pet caretaker and right now seems to be the perfect timing.

Stephanie is nothing short of AMAZING. We were nervous leaving our elderly cat (who ended up with a health condition after booking and shortly before our trip!). Stephanie handled it like a pro and went above and beyond. Her communication is great and she is a genuinely good person. This was our first experience on Rover and we were so lucky to have booked with her. Beyond being trustworthy, a great house sitter and pet sitter, we’re lucky to have crossed paths with her in general. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.
This review is for Stephanie and the care she provided for my very high-energy 11 month old labrador retriever. Stephanie is very kind and it is very clear that she LOVES dogs. Stephanie took my pup outdoors to play fetch with him multiple times a day. Stephanie was in contact with me daily and sent to me multiple pictures daily. Stephanie treated my dog as a member of her family. Thank you Stephanie!

I don't know anyone other than myself that is as compassionate about animals as Stephanie. She has many times taken care of my 3 dogs for as long as 2 weeks at a time when my wife and I would be down south during the winter. Made our holidays so much more relaxing knowing Steph and how much love she has for our dogs. Definitely top of the list I'd say for anyone wanting Steph to look after their pet. She'd be immediately in love with them.

I have a fenced yard and a great neighborhood to go for walks. I have a senior small dog who does not really enjoy playing with other dogs or pets but will simply ignore if I have to sit another dog at our home. The best way would be for me to go take care of your pets at your home but we can surely make either way work. I am very active so I would be the perfect candidate to bring your dog for long and frequent walks…even jogs! I also have access to a car and I don’t mind having to drive around Ottawa to take care of your pet!

I would love to do literally anything with your pet from going for long or short walks or even jogs, bring them to the dog park, play games with them, helping with their trick training for mental stimulation and especially, giving them lots and lots of love and affection!!

I’m currently on a sick leave from my doctoral clinical psychology studies. I have many short medical appointments during the week but I have a very flexible and open schedule that can be easily be worked around my other appointments. I am also usually always available on weekends.
