I have been a dog owner and enthusiast for over 28 years. In the past I worked at veterinary clinics as an assistant, owned a successful dog walking business between 2009 to 2011, and have enjoyed and loved my own pups over the years. One of the greatest life lessons I have learned has been from Oscar, a rat terrier mix who is blind and a role model to me. He wakes up every single day with a zest for life like no other creature I have ever met, a smile in his wagging tail, and an incredible amount of patience, curiosity, and adaptability, despite his differing abilities. Anyone who knows me understands that dogs are my life, my passion, my joy, my true love, and then I would do anything for them, as they are my favorite beings on earth.
