I'm Stephanie and I live in the Lakewood area near Dallas, TX. While attending school at the University of Texas at Austin, I volunteered as a dog walker at both APA locations (TLAC and Exposition) and fostered a couple dogs through APA as well. Both of my fosters were two four-month-old, large breed puppies. I’ve dog-sat for small and large dogs and low energy and high energy dogs in the past, but I find that I'm comfortable with all sizes and energy levels. I have a decent-sized, fenced yard where dogs are safe to run around, and I’m willing to take dogs on 30-minute walks or take them to a park to let them get their energy out during the day. I'm comfortable administering medicine if necessary and happy to talk about anything else I can do to accommodate your pup 😊

Stephanie has been awesome in every way as a sitter! She boarded my dog for 8 days. She's very communicative, sends you photos and updates almost daily. My dog is a border collie and requires exercise, and she took her to the dog park, walked her frequently, and played frisbee with the dog. My dog also was changing her food during the stay and Stephanie managed to follow the instructions and reached out to me for help when one of the foods ran out faster. Most importantly, I'm certain my dog was comfortable and happy to have been with such a sweet, dog loving person! Enough said.

A typical day
Living near White Rock Lake, I can take your dog to the lake for a walk or can take them to the dog park depending on your comfort level. I also live in a neighborhood shaded by lots of trees and can take them on plenty of walks there as well.
