Pet care experience
I've grown up with large dogs, mainly Golden Retrievers, my entire life. I've cared for dogs while nannying young children and have also dog-sat various dog breeds throughout my life. I love dogs, and while I don't have a dog at the moment, I look forward to making sure your dog feels as loved as possible while you're away. As I work full-time, a pet's routine would look like the following on a weekday: Morning (between 6-8 am): I would take the dog for a long morning walk, allowing the dog to get out their energy for the morning/afternoon. This walk would also include time for a potty break. Before leaving, I would allow time to play with the dog, and would make sure they had enough food and water for the day. Afternoon (between 12-2 pm, during my lunch break): I would take the dog for another, shorter walk; allow for potty breaks; check on food and water; and short time for play. Evening (between 5-9 pm): I would spend the longest amount of time with the dog in the evenings (during weekdays). We would go on another long walk/run and hopefully would have time to socialize with other dogs at nearby dog parks (depending on owner's request). We would also allow time for playing outside. After this, I would check on the dog's food and water levels again. Hopefully, spending a long period of time with the dog in the evenings will help with any separation anxiety the dog may feel while the owners are away. Besides going for a walk, I would spend time a large amount of time in the evening (between 2-3 hours, depending on if I was house sitting or providing drop-in appointments) playing with the dog at your house and making sure your dog feels loved, even while you're away! Weekends would be similar to the above, but would allow for more flexibility and longer visits/walks. I've found that dogs do a much better time being away from their owners if you're able to keep their usual routine as much as possible while you're away. So, while the above routine is what I would generally plan, I can definitely tweak it to make sure your dog's routine is as stable as possible. In addition to the above, I can help with reinforcing dog-training and obedience during your absence. I'm responsible and loving, and would make sure your dog was cared for and well looked after while you're away. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

Stephanie is a lovely person and so sweet with our Emma! Even though our dog was not quite sure of having a house sitter (first time having someone come to our house rather than her going elsewhere), I think Emma warmed up at the end of the 5 days. We're excited to have Stephanie look after Emma again soon!
Stephanie has watched my four big dogs on several occasions. She is attentive to their needs and shows them plenty of TLC. When we are out of town and she watches our babies I never worry about how they’re doing because she is very responsible and I know she’ll send me updates and pictures! I will always have Stephanie watch my dogs!
Stephanie was great with my dog! She gave her a nice walk and fed her!!! She was very professional and very nice when we had a meet and greet
Stephanie is a responsible and reliable individual. She will take great care of your pet. Having grown up with dogs Stephanie is comfortable around all sizes and breeds. She has a great work ethic and can be trusted. I can't imagine a better person for your pet than Stephanie.

I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life — I understand how much they value stability and routine with a healthy dose of fun, I like to make sure I fully understand their general schedule and stick to it as much as possible and allow time for extra long walks for your pup to get to smell to their heart’s content.
Information Stephanie L. would like to know about your pet
I always appreciate when dog owners let me know as much about their dog's routine as possible (when they usually go on walks, likes/dislikes, any health concerns, etc.). This allows me to help make sure your dog has a wonderful experience while you're away!
A typical day
I love to shower your dog with love and affection, especially now that I live in a building that doesn’t allow dogs. We’ll keep their routine as close to normal as possible, we’ll go on extra long walks to explore, enjoy local dog parks, and get all the belly rubs!
