Pet care experience
I am up for sitting for many different animals - I love them! In my own home for boarding I cannot take cats or dogs over 100 lbs. I grew up always having one or two dogs in the house, so I am very comfortable around dogs of all ages and sizes. My family had a Weimaraner that lived to nearly 18! I had guinea pigs, rats, and a rabbit at various times in my childhood.

Lola seems to have had a great time with Stephanie - we returned home to a happy and well cared for dog. Stephanie sent us lots of updates and photos and notified us of any needs or issues in a timely manner.

This was Emma’s second visit with Stephanie. This time, Emma arrived with a wagging tail, and conveyed immediate comfort with her surroundings. Stephanie was communicative and gave me a photo update this morning, even though Emma was there for a short stay. I will definitely continue to bring Emma to her for care.

I live in a two-story townhouse, with wood floors on the main level and carpet upstairs. When pet sitting at my townhouse, I will leash up your dog for walks and going out for the bathroom. If a crate is provided, I can crate your dog when I am away or leave them out if they are well-behaved and will not be destructive or get into things. I want you to be comfortable leaving your pet with me and will take good care of them! I text updates and photos for your peace of mind.

It’s important to know if a dog has a tendency to be anxious or aggressive around other people or dogs. Or if the dog has any special needs, for example if the dog is geriatric. Or if they have any destructive tendencies. Anything out of the ordinary is good to know, so that I can be certain I am up to the task and can give the dog what it needs. I also like to know the breed.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on hikes or walks, whether long or short! I especially love hiking in the mountains. I’m happy to do anything else the dog enjoys, too - throw a frisbee or ball, etc.

Availability
I have the flexibility to work my full-time job from home most of the time, so I can give your dog the care, attention, and exercise it needs. I love hiking on the weekends and would gladly take a furry friend with me on hikes and lots of walks!
