I have no breed preferences (I love all dogs, large and small). I do prefer that larger dogs wear a front-attaching harness or head halter, unless your pooch is exceptionally well-trained. I would also ask that you please provide an emergency contact number and a detailed record on your pooch, including health history, allergies, and previous injuries. All owners should complete a basic veterinary release form which will allow me to take your pet to the appropriate veterinarian, should an emergency occur.

I prefer to walk dogs within a nearby park, so that they can take in some fresh air and greenery. I do not have official experience with dog-training, but I am naturally patient and interested in animal behavior; I am more than open to help build your dog's confidence in his/her manners if there are certain commands you would like reinforced during the visit (for example, if you prefer to walk out of the door yourself before your dog is permitted to walk through, or if you prefer that your dog sits and waits calmly while another dog walks by, etc.). Of course, please let me know your dog's favorite game-- is it tug-of-war or fetch? I want to make the most out of our time together.
