Pet care experience
Hello, and welcome to our profile! Animals make us smile and we love having them around. When I grew up we used to have a cat and later on a dog (fish, budgies, frogs and a small parrot in between). I currently do not have enough time for pets of my own so this side job is the most wonderful past time for me. I am fascinated to learn from dog trainers and behaviourists, how quickly dogs pick up behaviour and how, with patience, guidance and repetition, we can influence this. We would love to meet you and your animal(s). Depending on your location we should usually be able to offer a pick up and drop off. Stephanie is really great, she kept me updated everyday and I received lots of cute pics and videos which were much appreciated. Luca isn’t the easiest dog but she was very understanding about several things so I really did feel that he was in great hands. Would love to use her services again if she would have us!
Stephanie and her husband were absolutely amazing with Laku. They were very accommodating and made Laku comfortable and relaxed. I got photos and video which eased my nerves, since I don't normally leave him with others, I will definitely reach out again if I need another one off doggy daycare. Highly recommend!
I contacted Stephanie last-minute to arrange care for the day of us moving house, after deciding that it would be less stressful for both us and Enzo. Stephanie came back to me straight away, even though she was on holiday and was really keen to find out exactly how to best welcome Enzo and make him comfortable, given that he's an anxious rescue. Enzo was very well looked after and even though he's not the easiest dog with strangers, he had had a lovely day. Stephanie and her husband were so kind and caring and clearly love dogs. I felt that Enzo was in very safe hands and would certainly recommend other dogs to Stephanie's care.
Lovely to have Stephanie look after Dawn. She was calm and great with her. Dawn’s already looking forward to more walkies with her new friend ?

Experience shows us that it is least stressful for the dog if we look after them on a 1:1 basis. Though dogs may enjoy meeting new dogs in the park, sometimes it's a different scenario when they meet in our home, getting confused about territory and feeling protective about the humans. Hence, we do not compete with windowless van day care services - we offer a different service.

If possible, please provide me with a few details about your animal: - what's their schedule, - at what time do they normally get up, - at what time do they expect food, - which portions do you feed them, - which are their favourite indoor games, - which commands do they already know, - which training would you like for me to reinforce, etc.
A typical day
We integrate the animal into our schedule but we respect the timings of their own schedule. We make sure there is a balance between play, excercise and napping, and we make sure the environment feels safe and calm for the animal. We are patient and know that each animal comes with their own personality, even though they may look the same.

Availability
We are based in N4, just North of Finsbury Park, and on weekends we love going for long walks and spending time on the sofa. In fact, we try to reach our 10k steps per day, usually 5k over lunch and another 5k in the evening. I am working from home which gives me great flexibility. Let us discuss your requirements, be it a weekend away, an evening at the theatre or Wembley, a wedding or a short notice appointment tomorrow afternoon.
