We can't say enough about our positive experience with Stephanie & Javier, from start to end. Our energetic 2-year old lab mix dog and our elderly cat were incredibly well cared for, as was our home. They are responsive, detail-oriented, and clearly have experience with animals. Instructions were followed, communication and updates were easy, and they took adorable photos! We hope to use their services again and highly recommend them.

We are extremely safety conscious, and understand that different pets have different needs, physically and emotionally. You can trust that we will always defer to your wishes and requests while your pet is under our care, with no exceptions. Please let us know about any verbal commands you'd like us to use, or training you're currently working on with your pet, and we will be happy to keep it up while you're away. Your home is your most intimate space, and we understand the level of trust that our clients put in us when we housesit. We promise to take excellent care of your home, and to respect your privacy at all times.

-Is your dog well socialized around other dogs and/or people (especially kids)? I want to know if I should avoid others when we are out for walks, or let them come over and say hi. -What are your dog's fears/phobias, if any? -Does your dog have any habits I should be aware of, i.e. will he try to steal food off my plate/the table when I'm not looking? Has she gotten a taste of how incredible it feels to escape the house and run down the street at top speed while her humans desperately chase her and call her and now she tries to sneak out whenever possible? -Does your dog have any allergies or sensitivities? -Any concerning behavior or habits that I should watch out for and/or report to you?
A typical day
There is no typical day when it comes to petcare - every animal is different! If you've got a high-energy dog, we might go for several walks throughout the day with lots of play time in between. If you've got a sleepier pet who doesn't want so much stimulation, we'll be home working on the computer and available for snuggles. We strive to meet your pet at their level; we want your pet to feel comfortable and safe getting their daily needs met, whatever that looks like. I love to play, and am partially joining Rover in an effort to keep myself active (working from home makes it too easy to stay inside all day!). I love to teach animals new tricks (even cats!) and play whatever kinds of games stimulate them best--an exhausted pet is a happy pet.

As freelancers, we both work from home and make our own schedule. This gives us the freedom to offer you a personalized experience: We will step in and maintain your pet’s routine as closely as possible, making sure they feel at ease in a familiar environment. With two sets of hands onboard, we're well-equipped to take excellent care of your home and your pets, giving them all the love and attention they can handle!!!
