Pet care experience
I am a local, small business owner who loves spending time with and advocating for dogs. Our home is set up for dog care with a fenced in back yard, designated dog rooms, comfy dog beds, Furbo (doggie surveillance camera), etc. My partner and I work together to create a safe and stimulating environment for visiting pups. I have 2 years experience in a veterinary hospital (treatment area) and can easily handle any special needs of your pet(s). I am especially sensitive and knowledgeable when it comes to handling senior and geriatric dogs. Proof of up-to-date veterinary records are required. I’d like to show you our home to make sure our space meets your dog’s needs. We look forward to serving your pet’s needs.
Reviews
We left our sheepadoodle with Stephanie and Dave over Spring Break and everything went well. Stephanie is amazing at communicating with you and giving you updates of your dog. She is honest and you can tell she knows how to care for dogs.
This was our pup's first experience boarding and Stephanie took such wonderful care of him! She communicated regularly giving us daily updates and photos which really helped us know he was with someone who cared for his well being as well as ours. Right off the bat she was respectful of his boundaries and demeanor and waited for him to be comfortable approaching her. She prioritizes safety and lots of fresh air for the dogs. We will absolutely leave Rowdy is Stephanie's care again - she was fantastic!
Stephanie took great care of our dog! She sent pictures almost everyday and spent lots of time playing with him. He came home tired out! Her house and yard are set up great for caring for multiple dogs at the same time. Thank you for the great care!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced in back yard and crates inside the home (if your pup requires crating). I use crates for feeding and treat time if there are other dogs around (also, when/if I leave the house for errands). Safety is the most important thing to us, but please make me aware of any issues your pup may have to being crated.

Information Stephanie J. would like to know about your pet
I do not have breed preferences. We are set up well for senior & geriatric dogs as well as active dogs. Please know we consider personality and ability when putting pups together. If there are any behavior issues, please be sure to let us know. Things I absolutely need to know is if your pup is resource or cage protective, and if your pup respects barriers (fences, gates, etc). More is more when it comes to telling us about any potential health issues. Specifically, ACL tears, hip dysplasia, allergies, etc!so we can modify our routine to keep your pup safe & healthy.
A typical day
Supervised, daily playtime in our fenced in back yard is a big part of our day! We let doggos outside with other doggos that have comparable physical abilities and sizes, for safety purposes.

My partner and I are currently working from home so we have plenty of time to care for you pup(s). We wake EARLY so the AM feed/med/play routine gets started as soon as I wake. I am able to adapt the routine based on your pup’s timeline so if there are specific needs, please let us know. We also go to bed early so most pups are settled in by 8 or 9PM.
