Pet care experience
I am an animal loving Rutgers employee and PhD student with many years of experience with pet care and dog walking. I have owned dogs all of my life and am comfortable with pets of all sizes, having had everything from a chihuahua to a Saint Bernard! I am available to care for pets overnight or for extended periods of time in my home - I am in a house in Morris Plains with my husband and our Australian shepherd-poodle mix Addie. When pet sitting, I typically go on at least 4 walks around the neighborhood each day with a longer walk or outside play in the evenings. During the day, we usually have a few games of fetch and lots of attention! Please feel free to ask any questions. I look forward to learning more about you and your dog!

I regularly leave my pup with Stephanie and she always comes home happy and exhausted. They are great with exercising the dogs and treating them like one of their own.
first time using for day care and they were great - sent photos and on pick up Murphy seemed really happy to have been there. Booked again for this week!

Stephanie was great in sending updates though the whole boarding session! Her level of communication was also top tier! It is also nice that she has her own dog to play with as well as having her own yard! Would highly recommend!

A typical day
Our days start with a long walk in the woods behind our home, followed by some inside playtime. We’ll go for a couple shorter walks throughout the day, then have another longer walk and playtime in the early evening.

My husband and I are working from home most days, with one of us always home. We go on several walks each day with our dog and play throughout the day. Most of our weekends are spent in our yard or going for hikes at nearby parks.
