Caring for animals has been a lifelong journey, weaving through different stories of love, compassion, and resilience. I’ve had and lived with pets my whole life. One of my most impactful experiences was providing hospice care for my senior dog with a heart murmur. Witnessing the fragility of life, giving her her medicine, taking her to her monthly vet appointments and offering comfort during her final years taught me the true depth of compassion. Adopting my dog at six months old during COVID marked the beginning of an incredible bond that has grown over the years. Seeing this pup mature from a playful youngster to a three-year-old loyal companion has been a remarkable journey filled with joy and learning. We enjoy training sessions most days to learn everything from paw, to twirl to agility classes. Among the furry family members, I've also had the privilege of caring for cute cats, each with their own tale. One of them, with only one eye, captured my heart and lived a feisty life. Through these experiences, I've learned the importance of tailoring care to individual needs, fostering a deep connection with each pet, and witnessing the profound impact of love and care on their lives.
