Pet care experience
I have house sat for dogs, cats, and chickens for well over a decade. I prefer to be in home with the animals as I feel their comfort is top priority. I’m new to Portland, so I’ve left my strong network of reliable customers that were all formed via word of mouth. I love getting know each pet’s personality and surprising the owners when they learn their pet (usually a cat) that ignores most people actually enjoys my company. I have given medicine, walked, fed/watered and loved many fur babies over the years and I look forward to loving yours for you while you’re away!

I’ve used Stephanie twice now and she was just as amazing the second time! I had a late flight home Sunday night, but she changed the sheets on the bed for me and made sure there was a light on and everything was set for me when I got back. The boys (dogs) always have a great time with her and sent pictures even though she knew I likely didn’t have service! We love her and will definitely continue booking!

I personally have a cat at home, I live in a small studio apartment so having your pet in my home would not be be ideal. I communicate regularly as requested with photo updates, as well as fun stories of what your pet is up to and how we are getting along. I love a good snuggle with pets of all sizes, be it me and 6 dogs in bed with me or a cat on my chest, I want to give them as much love as possible so they know their human hasn’t forgotten them because I’m there with them on behalf of their loving human.

I prefer to meet a dog before hand if possible, to make sure we get along, dogs, like people, don’t always like other humans outside of their own. I want to make sure they know me and you, their human, can meet me as well. I like to know their routine, all vet information and any emergency contacts.
A typical day
I’m new to Portland, so knowing your dog’s favorite places to go is a must, thus they keep their routine and are more at ease. I am happy to walk them, definitely play with them, and of course let them out for breaks as well as feed them and give them all the love they desire.
