I rescued my (now senior) dog Roz 12 years ago and quickly started fostering other small dogs in need. I currently have 5 chihuahua mixes of my own who are used to other dogs coming in and out of our home. One of the dogs get medicine several times daily, so I am perfectly comfortable with administering oral and external medication. I work as an attorney during the week and a free-spirit on the weekends. My home is pretty much dog proof and is the ultimate dog vacation spot: toys, Kongs, beds, sunshine, fenced-in yard, no stairs, etc. I will talk to your dog in baby talk; bonus points if they talk back. All dogs in my home get to be on furniture, sleep in bed with me (after we determine everyone can get along) and they all go out for potty breaks as often as they need. My house has no stairs and the yard is large and fully fenced-in; I never leave the dogs out of the house un-supervised. I never leave dogs in the car, tied to a post or otherwise unattended unless they are secured inside my house (I can't believe I have to say that, but there it is). I have volunteered with area rescues for a decade and maintain a vegan and animal friendly lifestyle. I am happy to provide references if you like. I freaking love animals. SPECIAL NOTE PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: I can't accept high energy dogs at this time. If your dog does not fit this category, please do not request to book with me; Rover penalizes sitters who do not accept requested bookings. PLEASE NOTE I DO ACCEPT MULTIPLE CLIENTS AT A TIME, SO YOUR DOG MAY MEET OTHER DOGS HE/SHE HAS NEVER MET BEFORE. I EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN INTRODUCING DOGS TO EACH OTHER AND THEY ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO CO-MINGLE AFTER IT HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED THAT THEY WILL GET ALONG. MOST OF MY CLIENTS ARE LOW ENERGY, OLD DOGS. ALL DOGS MUST DO A MEET AND GREET PRIOR TO STYING WITH ME.

Stephanie is such a sweetheart! I will definitely be using her again and recommend her to family and friends. You can tell she has a love for dogs and will care for yours with the same love. She was sending me updates and pictures and it made me feel very comfortable and happy to see my dog while away. My dog has a lot of anxiety and usually when she comes home, she acts weird for days. But with Stephanie, she did not! I can tell my Sophie was super comfortable with her! Highly recommend!
Stephanie did an outstanding job with Gabby!! Gabby is alouf and does not accept change. Stephanie won Gabby over. Gabby took treats from Stephanis's hand. I was very comfortable allowing Stephanie into the house while I was away. She brought the mail in and took excellent care of the house. I will use Stephanie again!!

A typical day
We lounge around the house, walks provided if they need. Mostly working outside and the pups can hang out inside, outside or on the enclosed porch.

Availability
On the weekends, I am at home more often than not and the dogs rule the roost. I don't have a super set routine, but we pretty much get up at 6 or 7am, garden, then hang out all day. Bed by 10. Weekdays I have a flexible hybrid work schedule. When I am hosting your dog, I will choose to WFH those days with the possibility of having to step out for a couple of hours for court.
