Hi, i’m Stephanie, and i’d be honored to spend some time with your dog! I’ve had multiple dogs all my life and taken care of them since I was a child. I moved to Oregon a little over two years ago, and made friends that would bring their dogs around every time we got together. My boyfriend, Sean, and I ended up caring for these dogs while each of our friends went out of town at different times. We fell in love with having a dog around again, so my boyfriend and I made the decision to rescue our own puppy. It was the best decision we ever made. Layla is now 1.5 years old and is basically our child. She loves everyone (dogs, cats, people), plays hard, cuddles harder, and is just a sweet and adventurous girl! I am a graduate student in psychology with a decently flexible schedule and my boyfriend is usually home when i’m not. We have a townhome, so it's a couple floors and plenty of room as well as a big toy basket to keep them entertained. There’s also several hiking trails connected to our property. I love spending my time with Layla, whether cuddling on the couch, playing in the house, going out to dog parks, walks/hiking and all around adventure! Layla LOVES getting to play with others. That's why I think this is perfect! I'd love to help someone else out, give them peace of mind that their fur baby is safe and happy and loved (you WILL get pictures), and give Layla some extra fun as a way to bring in some extra money while i’m in school and not able to work. We also have a cat who does her own thing (which usually means sleeping under our bed or in the bathtub); she's been around dogs her whole life, but we do have the gate for separation as an option. As I mentioned, I live with my boyfriend, who is also a dog lover! He is at work most of the day, which is why I will be the primary caregiver, but at night and on weekends there will be an extra person to love and play with your dog! We would be so happy and honored to be trusted with yours.
