Pet care experience
I will treat every dog like they're my own. Every dog needs different kinds of attention and I will take the time to make sure they are given exactly what they need. I have cared for dogs from the size of a Chihuahua puppy to a full-grown 120 pound Rotty and love every dog's individual personality. I'm a stay-at-home dog parent myself, so I'm available to pop in for walks any time of day and my husband will be with my pup and cat if longer term care for a dog is needed by a dog owner. I look forward to getting to know your dog and can't wait to make sure they are well taken care of and have a great time while that's happening!

Stephanie is amazing. From the moment she entered the door her and my pup bonded in friendship. My pup never barks indoors and rarely outdoors but when she left my pup was barking for her to come back. She did an amazing job and knows how to handle a very energetic pup and even walked her. Will definitely use her again
Stephanie is definitely an animal lover. She's the type of person who greets an animal and talks to them like they're human when she meets them and gives them a loving pep talk when she leaves, with a few hugs and kisses, too! Pets are truly family, not just "pets". Being with any animal, especially dogs and cats is her happy place.
Stephanie has one of the truest and deepest loves for all critters. We currently co-parent a dog and two cats that she absolutely spoils with love. She knows all of the neighborhood street cats, she has on more than one occasion picked up lost dogs and helped either find owners or made sure they were taken care of and placed in a good shelter or foster care. She names all the little lizards, frogs, and spiders seen around the house. She has spoken several times of aspiring to one day adopting or fostering senior animals so they don’t have to spend the end of their lives alone in a cage. She frequently dog or cat sits for friends and family.

My dog is an old man and we have a pretty laid back life nowadays. I take him on several short walks each day to help keep him in shape, but not tire him out too much. My cats have scratching posts all over, including some that are mounted on the living room wall. In someone else's home, I make sure to know where all key supplies are and ask questions to know what kind of personality your pets have. I'm happy to throw a ball around in the yard or just give lots of scratches if that's what your dog prefers. I'm comfortable with giving redirection when needed, but never yell at animals. I think showing you care is the best way to keep your pet on their best behavior while still letting them be themselves. Keeping all pets safe and happy is my biggest goal.

Please let me know if your dog is dog aggressive. I would also like to know if any animals have special needs, be that a certain diet or certain time periods that things need to be done (feeding, walking, medicines, etc).
A typical day
I love taking dogs on long walks or taking them to the dog park or beach (if they're okay with that). I make sure all animals in the household get as much attention as they need/want. Food puzzles are lots of fun for dogs to get to a special treat.

Availability
I only work a couple evenings a week and during the day on Saturday, so I am available for morning mid-day walks daily, as well as at least 4 evenings a week.
