Hello! I took an extended break from pet sitting but I’m back now and ready to care for your animals! Important info up front: I do work a full time job and have my own pets at home which is why I typically only do drop in visits. If you’re interested in me staying in your home and pet sitting feel free to send me a message to see if we can work something out, but please understand that your pet will be alone for 8-10 hours during the day while I’m at work. I am a former zookeeper turned animal shelter worker. I have my BS in Animal Science (pre-veterinary medicine) and a couple AS degrees in exotic animal care, animal training and wildlife education. I've dedicated my whole life to animals and would love to shower your pet with the same love and passion I give to every animal in my care regardless of the species! I've house-sat and pet-sat for friends, family, coworkers, and clients for several years. I am very comfortable around animals of all shapes and sizes. I have worked and cared for domestic animals (cats, dogs, some birds and hoofstock) since I was a teenager; I started working with exotics about 10 years ago. I've also worked in veterinary clinics and am very familiar with medications, first aid, special diets and almost everything that falls under the umbrella of basic veterinary care. I'm known for taking way too many photos of animals so I will happily send you as many pictures as you'd like (and then some) to brighten your day while you're away from your pet. I love all animals but I am definitely a cat lady at heart. Have cats at home that you hate leaving alone all day or while going out of town? I get it! I will happily drop in and care for them and send you pictures of them lounging in the way only cats know how to.
