Hi there! I’m a freelance fashion, art, and culture writer who lives on the Lower East Side. Most importantly, though, I (obviously) really really love dogs, and go out of my way to spend as much time with them as possible. I grew up with an adorable medium-sized mutt, Freud, as my best friend, and since he passed away at 18, I’ve missed having a dog and going for walks with one ever since. These days, I love taking care of my friends’ and neighbors' dogs and heading to the park with them whenever possible. I’d be thrilled to help you care for your pup, whether walking them in the park or around the neighborhood, making sure they’re fed, or simply checking in on them to make sure all’s well.

I'm happy to both go on energetic, longer walks, and also to take it easy and hang around if your dog is older, lower energy, etc., but I'd love to know in advance what your dog's preference is so I can make sure that they're 100% comfortable. I also would like to know how nervous your dog gets when meeting someone for the first time. As for breeds, I'm a big fan of golden retrievers and of course all dogs, but especially love mutts.
A typical day
I'd love to go for long walks with your dog around the neighborhood, in the park, along river paths, or to simply take it easy if that’s what your dog prefers.
