Danny and I are a newlywed dog lovers who have a very social golden retriever puppy and a mellow rescue mutt. Both of us have never lived a day without owning a dog and we wouldn't have it any other way. Bronson, our rescue mutt, has taught us endless lessons about time, patience, and love. Rescuing a dog from a fighting ring has widened our eyes to realize some dogs need more love and understanding than others. In the three years since rescuing him, we have learned and grown a great deal by learning and developing behavioral technics. Danny is available mornings before he leave for his night shift as an athletic trainer. Currently, I am pediatric and neurodivergent occupational therapy. In my spare time I train our golden retriever, Ophelia, for her future job as a therapy dog. Some afternoons I will provide caregiving services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area. We understand firsthand that some dogs need more practice, care, and understanding than others. If your dog is anything like our Ophelia, we also know your social butterfly just wants to get out and have some fun or company for a bit. Your dogs will be in good hands with us.
