Pet care experience
I have been around animals all my life. There have always been dogs in the family, and at some family gatherings the dogs almost out numbered the people. I have also enjoyed the company of cats throughout my life. Between myself and former roommates, there's always been a cat around. Most recently, my partner and I lost our cat Achilles to old age. We're not sure we want to replace him just yet, but in the meantime I'd love to spend time with your furry little friends!

Stephanie was amazing with our dog! She took her in a moment's notice when we were in a bind, kept us updated every day, & made sure Valkyrie had lots of fun! I'd absolutely recommend her to anyone needing dog care ?
Stephanie and Trevor were so great with our two dogs! We have a 10-month-old golden retriever and a 7-year-old mix, and the puppy can be a bit of a challenge. They handled her so well and gave both dogs loads of attention, as they are not used to being away from us! Stephanie sent us photos and updates every day so we were never worried! They even were able to accommodate a special request for us and brought the dogs out to our wedding venue to have their photos taken with us on our big day! So special! Thanks again Stephanie and Trevor, you guys are awesome!
Stephanie is great. My dog is a rescue and is nervous around new people. And I was a bit apprehensive to set up this service as it takes some time for my dog to warm up to new people. Stephanie came over for a meet-and-greet to get introduced to my pup. She is calm, polite and respected my dogs boundaries. She worked together with me to get my dog comfortable, such as going on walks together, practicing putting his leash on and off, etc. My dog is now comfortable with Stephanie and she can come in, put his leash on and take him for a walk all by herself. She gained my pups’ trust and mine! Highly recommend .

Please let me know if they have any health concerns that might come up during their stay. I'm okay with reactive dogs but it's important for me to know ahead of time. Do they have separation anxiety?
A typical day
I like to keep the dogs on the same food and walk schedule that they are used to so they know what to expect. When they first arrive I make sure to take the dogs on long walks which helps them settle into a new environment. If it's raining too hard then we will play inside until they are tired.

Availability
I am a part time student so my schedule is light and varies during the week but afternoons and weekends are always open. During the summer there is always someone home so your pet will never be alone. I'm also free for the holidays.
