Pet care experience
I’ve been a dog mom my whole life, and volunteer, advocate and foster for 10+ years with rescue pups in Chicago. I am dog obsessed and will love your babies like my own (just don’t tell my pups, Bob and Louie). You can count on me to show up on time, offer lots of love, energy, good scritchies, treats (if you are ok with that), lots of attention, physical and mental enrichment, positive reinforcement, fear free methods and a detailed report card! I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes from 100+ pound gentle giants to 4 pound bosses who run the show. Every dog is different and I can adapt my style to what they need. I don’t judge! I just want every animal to have the opportunity to live their best life and love to be even a small part of showing them the good life.

We booked Stephanie for a meet and greet walk since our dog can be nervous around new people. She was super responsive when I reached out. I will always keep your pups on a leash if we are outside of the house and ensure collars and harnesses are attached properly. I will keep your pups away from other dogs if we are out for a walk, even if they are dog friendly, because I never want to put either one of us in a stressful situation encountering dogs or people that we don’t know. Pet safety and keeping your trust are everything to me.

A typical day
It depends on how you be your dog prefer that we interact but I love to provide exercise, sniff walks for mental stimulation, lots of love and affection, cuddles, positive reinforcement and play time. If you dog is more of an independent pup who prefers their space instead or someone constantly playing with them that is fine too. I can stay close and always be respectful of boundaries to adapt based on your needs!

Availability
I work downtown twice a week and travel for business on occasion so I will only accept jobs I know I can commit to. I have a lot of flexibility on days I work from home so looking forward to meeting some great new dogs and helping out their parents who always want the best for their pups and are juggling their own busy schedules.
