Dog Lover! Experienced Sitter!

Pet care experience

I have been around animals my entire life and I absolutely love them all! I have been a Rover sitter for almost 8 years now and enjoy it immensely! I'm an active person and love going on walks with a furry friend! We live close to a trail that is perfect for dog walking and leads to a park which is perfect for playing and long leash exercise. Expeirenced with senior dogs. I have completed CPR and First Aid certification for dogs and cats.

Stephanie was fantastic with our pup Jesse who can be a handful. We were so happy to find such a great person to watch her.

Stephanie is so great with our dog Zoey! Zoey has stayed with her many times and every time we show up she is so excited to see Stephanie! She is extremely professional and listens well to any instructions we give her regarding Zoey's care. Zoey recently stayed with her while she had stitches in her leg and she was more than comfortable keeping an eye on her and reducing her play/activity during that time. She provides great updates on how the stay went (including photos!). We look forward to working with her again in the future!

Stephanie was very thoughtful with her questions and communication throughout booking and the stay. Our dog enjoyed walking in the trails nearby and seemed very content : ) Thank you Stephanie!

Stephanie is professional and caring. She made our Corgi feel welcome and safe, and we expect to use her services repeatedly. Strongly recommended!

Safety, trust & environment

We aim to accomodate your needs and what your pet is used to. We require meet and greets for all new clients where we go through a standard set of questions to get to know you and your pet better so we can make them feel at home and comfortable with us. We have an unfenced yard, dog park nearby, and walking trails. There are many dogs in the building and all dogs who stay with us must be potty-trained and comfortable with potentially running into another dog exiting and entering the building. Pets allowed on furniture, but we prefer them to sleep either in their own bed or in a crate, there isn't enough space in our bed.

Information Stephanie D. would like to know about your pet

What do I want to know about you and your dog? - if there are any specific behaviours you are working on training at the moment and how you conduct that training - i.e. potty training, heel walking, tricks, etc. - any allergies or medical conditions - feeding times and amounts - If your dog requires a muzzle, mouth-strap, or pulls when walking - if your dog is comfortable with other dogs and with other people Bread Preferences: We love all dogs! We don't have preferences for breads. We can only accept dogs who are comfortable in an apartment setting and have experience being away from home. We are not able to accept dogs who are not potty trained to go outside (no pee pads allowed, carpet in apartment).

A typical day

Each stay is designed based on the individual needs of your pupper! Generally, we walk on the trail 2-3 times a day, the length varies based on individual needs. Your dog will get as many bathroom breaks as are needed, and, of course, lots of love. *We strive to maintain your pupper's schedule during the stay, i.e. feeding times, sleeping arrangements, etc. What do we have here? When you furry friend stays here you don't have to lug over everything! We have doggy bowls for food and water, poop bags, first aid supplies, and doggy towels for wet days. What should you bring! All food, special treats or trainer-treats (if needed), a leash, favourite toy(s), and any specialty items such as a crate or bed that your dog needs or will want for comfort.
