A tired dog is a happy dog.
Pet care experience
My goal is to help you and your pet live a happy cohesive life. I am a firm believer in "a tired dog is a happy well behaved dog". I'm here to provide the positive outlet your dog needs to mentally and physically exhaust themselves as well as get a chance to explore more of the wonderful city we live in. Making a difference one walk at a time to achieve positive connections between your dog and the big wide world around them. I've grown up with dogs in my home since the day I was born. I've put several of my own dogs through obedience training and am presently working on completing a CGC as well as Trick Dog Titling with my current doberman. I'm no stranger to walking larger working breed dogs that tend to receive a negative reaction by the general public. I also have a chihuahua mix, so I'm quiet used to the loud small dogs as well. Generally I enjoy all dogs big and small, and can't wait to meet your furry companions!
Reviews
Stephanie is the BEST EVER!!!!! She came to my home to feed and walk my senior dog. Molly wouldn't eat from her dish so Stephanie hand fed her so she would eat. She's amazing with animals, especially older pets like Molly. LOVE her!!!
Was good on short notice.
Stephanie Dhannu is a pure Dog lover. I have had many planned recreational outings with Stephanie and she always ensures that her dogs are a part of the experience, and done so in a manner that is not an inconvenience to anyone else. She is aware of not only municipal restrictions on dogs but I have never once seen her with a dog off leash. It is though she sees the world through the dogs eyes, having spotted things that would interest a dog well before any of the rest of us. She makes her dog sit as other dogs pass by on the trail and rewards them for their obedient behavior. She understands the psychology of a canine and cares for her own dog as if he were her own child. It has even irritated me that she "brings that damn dog" on outings, however the experience is never negative, which makes me realize what a trained dog person can accomplish with a dog. With as many low skilled dog owners in the world, Stephanie is not one of them. It is a rare thing. I would have no problem, and have asked Stephanie to watch over our dogs or weeks at a time while we vacationed.
Stephanie is the best pet parent I know. She is excellent at training dogs. Her dog Link is amazing the best dog ever. I have four mini schnauzers and she can command their attention in a positive way. She is calm and quick with dogs and nurturing in her relationship with animals. She is my first choice in caring for my pets when I can not

Information Stephanie D. would like to know about your pet
I don't have any breed preferences, though I adore larger dogs. Food/Treat Allergies? (or specific treat preferences?) Aggression Issues? (human, dog, fear aggression) Any Medications? Any Behavioral Issues? Anything you think I should know before handling your dog?
A typical day
I frequent several different trails along the river and larger community parks for more peaceful less populated walks, as well enjoy taking walks around the heart of down town and old Sacramento for more socially stable dogs. I like to incorporate fun small training sessions into walks to exercise the mind just as much as the body, small tasks such as focusing on me, learning to sit when I stop (very useful at crosswalks), learning to ignore passerby's and other animals on route, mainly small tasks that improve the quality of being out and about with said dog.
