Pet care experience
I love all animals! Especially dogs because they are so much fun to adventure with. I have been a dog owner since 2013 and have experience in training puppies as well as caring for old dogs that need special care. I love spending time with animals and feel a deep connection to them. I find them more pleasant to be around than most people. Dog walking is not only good for the dog but for me it is great excersize for my body and peaceful for my mind. I currently have a medium size 1 year old spayed female who also LOVES dogs and if it is okay for your pets to socialize mine is a great dog to be friends with. If your animals are unfriendly with other dogs, (which I understand that some are) then I would not care to socialize them at all. I also consider myself to be in shape and capable of long walks if needed for your pet care.

Stephanie made my puppy very comfortable! We are traveling and he's been a little nervous. But he loved her. He also loved playing with her dog, Fred. Fred is super sweet and loves other dogs. This made leaving him for the evening very easy!
Stephanie was wonderful! She went to great lengths to make sure Soffietta was safe, cared for and loved. Great communication and she kept me updated on her eating habits and sent lots of pictures of them having a great time! Thank you Stephanie!

If a pet is staying with me they must be socialized properly since I live with my family and my dog Fred. She loves other dogs and would be a great friend to other dogs. I live close to Arlington Park where there is a nice trail and dog park to play in. If a person's pet is not socialized I can leave my dog at home with family to tend to your animals in your own home. I also have many years experience cleaning homes and air bnb and may offer those services in your home for an extra fee.

I'd like to know of any dietary restrictions, if animals are allowed treats, if they are socialized or what kind of behaviors they tend to have towards humans and other animals. I'd also like to know if the animal has any injuries or illnesses. I would also prefer to meet and greet before working with any pets or parents to go over topics above or more.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on long walks and if they are properly socialized and respond well to voice command then I also enjoy taking them to dog parks to play with other dogs and fetch. I enjoy snuggling or giving space to dogs who aren't as snuggly.

Availability
I am currently self employed and make my own schedule. My work varies from performing music to candle-making and vending to providing cleaning services. Every day my dog and I usually walk 1-4 miles minimum, sometimes more! My availability is very flexible since I create my own schedule.
