Safe, Loving, healthy home for dogs
Pet care experience
ON HIATUS UNTIL MAY 2024 (hopefully). My apologies in advance to my regular customers and doggie visitors. We've adopted 2 dogs to join Tita, so our attention will be focused on helping them transition and integrate into their new home. Your fur-kid(s) will enjoy spending time with me and my sweet spayed senior golden retriever. We live with my partner and our 3 kids (all are dog lovers) in a rural community, but conveniently located not far from major highways. Our large yard (for leashed activity and play), and lots of nearby walking trails, make our location ideal for all types of dogs. We like to play fetch, tug, "hide n treat" and just snuggle. Your dog(s) would be welcomed and treated like family. I've raised 3 golden retrievers, having done extensive training and handling work with them, including agility and obedience. (One became a certified therapy dog with TDI). I have taken care of many friends' dogs over the years, and enjoy having wagging tails around. I am willing to work with you and your dog's needs to make his or her stay a happy and safe one.

Please let me know what commands your dog knows to help maintain consistency amd avoid confusion for your dog. If there are any sensitive touch spots, food allergies, or other items of concern, it's best to understand those ahead of time so I can do my best to accommodate your dogs needs and health care. Dogs with strict dietary needs, hearing and visual impairments, and anxieties have been comfortable and safe in my home.
A typical day
Nearly 20 other dogs live in the neighborhood, so if it suits your dog, there will be play date opportunities. If that's not your dog's thing, we have many wooded trails and a huge toy box full of dog toys. Tug toys to balls, to crunches to squeak toys, there's something for every pup.

My FT work schedule has me back on the road a bit more than in the past. But if your dog stays with me, he/she will get plenty of attention and outside time. I won't book stays if I'll be gone longer than 7 hrs at a time.
