I am a dog mom and love my rescue dog Nigel. We have completed three six week obedience classes and Nigel passed his Canine Good Citizen test through the AKC. I have experience using positive rewards-based training for obedience, loose-leash walking, house training, and other skills. I also use positive reinforcement with other dogs that I interact with and can help continue any training that you have worked on with your dog. I have learned a lot through studying Psychology at the doctoral level and use whatever I can with Nigel. My husband, Nigel, and I live in a four bedroom house with a big fenced in back yard, so there is plenty of room inside and out for dogs to play. We also have a kiddie pool outside for those hotter days. I will be happy to hear the needs your dog has and hope that I will be meet those needs during your dog's stay. I can promise your dog will play a lot with Nigel and will have time outside to run around in the back yard. If your dog likes to do anything in particular (play fetch, go for walks, go to the dog park), please let me know and we can make it happen. Also, please let me know what their favorite toys or treats are. I will provide you with updates and pictures of your dog's day while they are in my care. A note regarding dog boarding: Pups should be picked up on the morning of pickup day. If this cannot be done it is not usually a problem but we will add an additional 'drop-in visit' for any pick ups after 11:30am and a 'doggy day-care' for any pick ups after 3pm.
