I am a teacher, with pretty open flexibility during the summer. I am available most weekends. I had to hide my profile some time, as I recently had to say good-bye to my sweet 19 year old kitty boy, after looking after him for some time. I have a dog who I adopted while living abroad. I want to be straight forward that my dog, while he enjoys most dogs he meets, does not make a good impression at all with people - although we are working on it. I wanted to state that clearly, so if we arrange a meet and greet, you will be prepared for that. As I said, he loves most dogs (although we seem to have trouble with large male labs and snub nose breeds, but I'm willing to try!) I really love animals, especially dogs since adopting my own. I would be happy to do check-ins and walks that might work around my schedule. I have a small yard, but any outside time would be supervised. For me, leaving my dog with someone I trust is a top priority. Above all, I would want him to be safe, so this would be my primary concern caring for anyone's pet. I would want someone caring, kind, responsible and someone with common sense! My pets are my family, and any doggie I am looking after would be treated likewise.
