Pet care experience
Hi there! I am responsible, trustworthy and reliable individual with a love for animals. Therefore, it feels like a no-brainer to be apart of Rover and help out locals with their pet caring and walking needs. Not only have I owned my own dog in the past (a German Shepherd Husky mix!), but friends and family have also relied on me to take care of their furry friends when in need. I am attentive, enjoy long walks and hiking, and genuinely enjoy the company of a furry friend.

Stephanie is a very responsible 26 year-old who has held part-time and full time since the age of 17. In her younger years she babysat and later worked in schools as a classroom assistant. She has always been an animal lover and last year sadly her husky/shepard dog passed away. Stephanie now works flexible hours from home and loves the idea of again connecting with dogs while enjoying the outdoors.

We keep our house clean with no small items laying around (no opportunity for any mischief!). I am comfortable with off-leash, however am happy to stick to on-leash if best! My dog that I am pictured with unfortunately passed late last year, so there will be no dogs of mine around the house. My roommate, however, has a cat named Carl who is quite well behaved (except sometimes has the zoomies).

A typical day
I love long walks and hikes - I am also a runner if your dog enjoys accompanying humans on their runs! I am happy with off leash care or on leash, can take your dog to trails or just stick to neighbourhoods.

Availability
I currently work Monday to Friday full-time in a hybrid schedule between work and my office, and have weekends and holidays off. As my schedule is quite flexible, I am able to complete walks around my working hours as well as midday during my breaks. Unfortunately I am unable to commit to long term bookings as my work schedule changes every week (which days I am in the office, etc). Working from home allows me the flexibility to be very present during any sort of care, whether it be a walk or day/overnight care.
