Pet care experience
In our home, our dog is the center of our lives. My family and I have one French Bulldog, Louie, who is 8 with the energy of a puppy. He loves all people and other dogs (he even likes cats!) Since he has lost all of his siblings we love hosting other dogs so Lou has a playmate every once in a while! We also frequently foster with Animal Care and Protective Services and French Bulldog Village, so I am used to all different types of personalities, ages, and needs. Our dog is completely spoiled and loved like a child and valued members of our family. There isn’t anything we wouldn’t do for him! I am very experienced with administering medications of all kinds (oral, injections, etc), so these types of requests are fine with me. I’m a nurse full time (but work from home!), and caring for animals is something I love outside of that! I’m happy to accommodate any needs you have for you pet and always willing to discuss budget. I have a 16 year old son who also helps me when needed! Thank you for taking the time to read a bit about us. Please feel free to reach out with any additional questions!

Stephanie C. cancelled a booking 4 days before it was scheduled to begin.
Fantastic and made us feel super comfortable about leaving our boy with her. Stephanie was very communicative and prompt with her responses. Also, pretty sure our pup might like her house better than ours! 😅
Mazie was happy to arrive at Stephanie’s every day we took her. She made it very clear to us that she enjoyed her days there. I will definitely rebook with her anytime we need daycare or boarding in the Jacksonville area. Stephanie was super accommodating with our crazy drop off and pickup schedule. I do wish I had received a few photos but I know that is difficult sometimes.
Stephanie took care of our 2 fur babies for 10 days while we were on vacation. When we picked them up, they looked well cared for and happy. During the first few days of our trip, I did have to remind her to send daily updates and photos of the dogs. It just helps me enjoy myself knowing that the pups are content with life. After that I would usually wake up to a couple of photos from her of their happy faces. I would use Stephanie again if the need arises :-)

Safety, trust & environment
I have an 8 foot privacy fence that is completely secured. We do have a pool, but no safety fence, so when they are outside they are not alone! We have never had any incidents with our pets or anyone else’s in the 7 years we have lived here. All pets are allowed on the beds and couches. We do have crates if your pup is more comfortable in it when we are out or at bedtime, but it is not required. We have video monitoring as well for times we are not home. I always discuss care expectations right away with potential clients to ensure all are on the same page. Discussion, in great detail, about exactly what you are expecting from our experience together (for example, if you want a photo/video update at a specific time) is going to ensure a stress free time away from your pet/s. It is always my goal to ease the mind of my clients. As a pet owner myself, I understand the anxiety behind leaving your family member with someone new. Please do not hold back on needs and expectations so that we have a great experience during my time with your fur babies! Additionally, I always recommend meeting with multiple care givers to ensure you are booking with the best possible fit for you and your babies, even if it isn’t with me!

Information Stephanie C. would like to know about your pet
Any quirks or things the dogs doesn’t particularly like or might be scared of {tight leash, certain noses, sudden movement, other dogs, cats, etc.}. Feeding and medication schedule, along with whatever else the owner feels is necessary for proper/safe care.
A typical day
I understand a lot of dogs are nervous at first with someone new, so feeding off their energy usually helps them settle and makes for a successful first interaction and stay! We go on lots of walks in the neighborhood and local nature trails (with permission from owners before hand)! We always have tons of toys and even an electric tennis ball launcher for the back yard!

Availability
I work from home with a flexible schedule, so fitting caring for other pets into my schedule is very manageable. I am usually able to accommodate any request!
