Pet care experience
I am a nurse and proud owner of a loveable giant Newfoundland doggo named Gabe. He's definitely a spoiled floof and we would have it no other way! I used to live and petsit regularly for multiple clients in Chicago, so I know what its like to need some help in a busy place. I've continued to sit and take care of multiple pets since moving back to Des Moines, and find the pet community here to be so incredibly trustworthy and endearing. You can trust me to be prompt, timely, and responsible with your pets. And of course, we will play, cuddle, and spend lots of time outdoors or doing activities inside, whatever your preference may be. I used to own a Rottweiler as well as a Shih-tzu, so I love and welcome all breeds and sizes. We currently have a 6 month, 70 pound black Newfoundland who absolutely loves all humans and pups alike. Stephanie did an awesome job with our dogs! This was my first experience using rover.com and I was worried about hiring a stranger to watch over my dogs, one of which is still recovering from surgery earlier this week. The dogs felt comfortable with her the moment she walked in the door, so my worries faded quickly. I will definitely have Stephanie back for future visits.
Steph did a great job with Kasey. She stayed over with her and spoiled her with a lot of walks and car rides. We felt very comfortable with Steph staying in our home. She also sent great pictures.
I've known Stephanie for over 20 years. She has always been my go-to pet sitter and has watched several of our cats and our dog. She has experience with animals with special needs, giving our cat oral medications multiple times daily. She is also the most responsible and the best pet-snuggler we know. When we come home we KNOW our pets had a great time, because they are sad to see Stephanie go. I can't recommend her enough and I hope your pets are lucky enough to spend some quality time with Stephanie.
