Professional Dog Walker/ Pet Sitter
Pet care experience
Hi there! I, currently, work for an award-winning veterinary, recommended dog walking and pet sitting service. I hold the position as trainer. I am responsible for training new employees to provide an exceptional service while keeping animals safe. I am CPR and first aid certified. I have completed various trainings such as canine development, dog behavior, dog walking, and safety. With this expertise, I know I can provide your fur baby with an exceptional experience. Additionally, I have animals of my own; a dog and 3 cats. I love them immensely and I know what it’s like to want to give them the best life and care possible. Yet, sometimes it’s hard given this busy world we live in between work and recreational life. BUT, what can make it easier is finding someone who can love them, play with them, and provide them with the physical and mental stimulation your fur baby needs when you can’t. AND maybe you have just come to the right place; that person may just be behind the profile you’re reading right now! That’s right, that person is me!
Reviews
Easy to work with and is conscientious sending updates. Would easily reccomend her.
There are not enough good things to say about Stephanie! She took such great care of our highly anxious dog (and the house). Stephanie was patient with him, and encouraged him to love life while we were out of town. I’ve never seen him so happy while we were gone. We can’t thank her enough!
Stephanie has been terrific! She clearly loves and respects dogs and gives them a great experience
Stephanie is an absolutely wonderful petsitter!! Our dog Chewy has some special needs when it comes to his meals and medication right now and Stephanie handled everything perfectly. She even brought Chewy out for a few hikes so that he could change up his usual routine and let his nose lead the way! Stephanie provided thorough and exciting updates and photos during her stay, which meant that we did not worry for a second while we were gone. We came back to a spotless home and one tired out boy!! I would highly recommend Stephanie as a petsitter and can't wait to work with her again!

Outside of just loving them, I have a cat of my own that has heart failure and a dog with ascities disease. I know, not only what it’s like to have to administer meds promptly and to always be aware of their behaviors, but to also savor every moment I have with them and to treat them as the precious beings they are. I do everything I can to meet their needs through play, affection, and intuitively listening to their body language and meows/barks. Beyond my own animals, I provide care to dogs and cats of all kinds and needs including those with anxiety disturbances and medical conditions. I listen to the caregiver and do as they ask meanwhile following the animals cues as necessary. If there are any concerns with behavior (ie trembling uncontrollably, incontinence) I will reach out to the owner promptly and I will do as asked. I send my clients a daily note including pictures and videos of our time together. As important as it is that I meet the needs of the animals, it is just as important that I meet the needs of my clients. I think it is important that I keep my clients involved in their pets day by sharing how their fur babies day went, our favorite moments, and how I met their needs as well as the client’s requests. I always want to make sure that I am providing you and your fur baby with exceptional service and if there are ever any concerns or ways that I can improve, please, let me know, so that I can correct them. I go over and beyond for my clients and I will do the same for you.
Information Stephanie B. would like to know about your pet
I will plan a 30 minute meet and greet with you ahead of time to discuss any relevant information such as temperament, special needs, dietary restrictions, walking gear, and bite record. This will be free of charge including a 15 minute complimentary walk for some additional bonding time with your pup! In the event the meet and greet is with a kitty cat, the above mentioned will remain the same. I will ask much of the same questions including use of walking gear. Just maybe you might want your cat walked too; different breeds require different things! I will also include a 15 minute complimentary play time visit if you are interested.
A typical day
For dogs, I LOVE to provide enrichment activities such as bucket play, nose work, and puzzles. The additional stimulation strengthens their brain, grows their vocabulary, and can also aid in lowering their anxiety, thus improving their overall wellbeing. Beyond a neighborhood walk, I am more than happy to bring them for a hike. Dogs sure love exploring new territory and, of course, the car ride! Please feel free to make an inquiry. There is an additional charge for this service. Cats- I LOVE mentally and physically stimulating them too! Just like dogs they need exercise and their brains challenged. I will bring toys such as bell balls, grass puzzles, and birdies. I love to use cat nip to encourage play (if the owner permits it). However, I know all about those lazy cats too lol! If they just want to be loved and rubbed you need to look no further because Stephanie is here! I am the best head, neck, back, and butt scratcher there is!
