NEUTERED OR SPAYED DOGS ONLY, PLEASE. Dogs boarding in our home must be neutered or spayed-NO EXCEPTIONS. This does not apply to dog walking or drop-in service at your home. I love furry creatures of all ages but I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs. Some sitters charge extra to care for them but I don't. We have 1 energetic senior pup, a 13,5 yr. old Jack Russell Chi mix and a 6 yr. old Yorkie. I'm also CRAZY about CATS and have owned several over 30 years. We have resident cats plus a few fosters. I work with 2 different rescues and am passionate about trap/neuter/release (TNR). No worries if your dog isn't cat friendly, we can keep them separated during your dog's stay. Please note that I can provide care for your cats in your home only. MEET & GREETS: I require a meet and greet here in our yard prior to booking daycare or boarding to make sure everyone will get along. Often times dogs will need a daycare session prior to boarding to become familiar with me, our dogs and home in order for me to be able to care for them. I have been pet sitting since 2006. I previously worked in libraries and because I was in contact with vulnerable populations, including children, seniors and people with disabilities, I have had an extensive federal and state criminal background check which includes fingerprinting. I hope this additional measure of security puts you at ease about my caring for your pets in my home or yours. I am familiar with many types of medications and supplements and I will make sure your pet gets the necessary doses along with meals/treats on their usual schedule. DROP OFF & PICK UP TIMES FOR DOGS: I am flexible with the times though the preferred hours are between 8am-8pm. I will do my best to accommodate your needs. REQUESTS FOR SERVICE: Please note if you send a request for dog boarding, daycare, cat care, etc. at 9pm or later, I probably will not reply until the following morning. We go to bed early since we are up before dawn to take care of the animals.
