Pet care experience
I’ve always been a dog-lover! I grew up around dogs and have owned three (of a variety of sizes) at one time. I worked at a specialty pet supply store for two years which provided me with extensive pet nutrition training and exposed me to the many different dog breeds that came in for grooming services. I've dog-sat for as many as 6 dogs at a time and have experience with senior dogs, arthritic dogs, dogs requiring daily medication, puppies, dogs with aggression, etc. I am currently completing a Dog First Aid/CPR Course and have completed several pet nutrition courses (Feel free to ask any questions! Stephanie was phenomenal with Ollie and our home. She's very thoughtful and provided photos and videos throughout her stay with Ollie. She provided exceptional care, feeding and walking for him... If you are looking for someone to provide exceptional care for your pets look no further. Steph went above and beyond for me and my fur babies! My home was cleaned to perfection, my dogs were all fat and happy upon return. The dogs told me how much they loved Steph being at the home with them and how much fun they had. She also sent videos and pictures while I was away so I could see them. This was my first time using an at home sitter over boarding and I will never go back. Thank you so much Steph! I will be sending more people your way all summer long 😊❤🐶

When at a pet parent's home, I regularly clean the environment to make it as comfortable for the dog(s) as possible (as well as to create the most stress-free environment possible when the parent(s) come(s) home). Of course, throughout the day, they'll receive lots of love, playing, and care. This includes walks, playing inside/outside, and any other instructions provided by the pet parent! I typically discuss daily expectations with pet parent(s) prior to the scheduled dates that the pet(s) will be under my care.

It’s important I’m aware of any specific concerns (such as aggression) regarding your pet, so I can prepare and plan accordingly. Other important information includes feeding guidelines (time/amount), how many walks they usually go on each day, whether or not they’re potty trained, and where I should take them for walks/potty time. I would also love to know more about your dogs such as their favorite activities and personality! I recently created a fillable pdf including all the information I need to know about your dog. I like to meet up with pet parents beforehand when possible as well, so we can always discuss anything else you feel I should know!
A typical day
When staying at the owner's location, I (of course) play with the dogs throughout the day, give them lots of love, go on walks, let them out for potty breaks as frequently as possible (or replace pee pads as needed), and feed pets as directed. I love spending time around dogs of all breeds and always offer them all the attention I can! You’ll also receive plenty of photos and videos while they’re under my care. I'm highly adaptable, so please let me know if there are any specific toys/activities/etc. you want for your fur babies while I take care of them!

I'm a college student but have taken off this semester (the summer), so I'm free most days until my classes start again on August 22nd.
