Pet care experience
A fenced yard, lots of Eagle Vail open space, and love and cuddles for your pup await! We are a COVID-cured and vaccinated house :) I grew up with dogs and have loved living with them my entire life. I'm excited to look after other dogs and share my love with them. I am a very active person who loves to run and hike in my neighborhood and around the valley. I have experience caring for dogs that do and don't get along with others (dogs and humans) and am confident using an electric collar and/or leash. I am a middle school teacher who is usually gone from around 7:30 am -4 pm on school days.

Steph did an amazing job taking care of our sheepdog, Leo. He felt right at home! She sent daily pictures and took him on beautiful hikes. He was truly a lucky dog for the week. In addition, he likes to stay very close to us, and she was very accommodating to his specific needs. I would highly recommend her!

Steph was honestly fantastic! This was our first time leaving Fish-Hook who’s our 2.5 year old hound mix. He’s super attention needy, has lots of energy & like all dogs has his quirks! Steph picked him up (which was super helpful) and he immediately seemed comfortable with her. We mentioned we were in Vail for our wedding & she said not to worry about responding but that she’d send lots of photos & updates, which she did! She took him for walks, runs & he got to play with her dog. She let us know how he was doing & made pickup just as easy as drop off. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter in the area. Thanks for taking such good care of our little buddy!

A typical day
I would love to hike and run around my neighborhood- there are a lot of trails and open space in Eagle Vail near where I live. I would love to play fetch, and I can also organize doggie-play-dates with other dogs in the neighborhood.

I currently work full time at school but walk my own dog before and after work each day. I can also take pups for hikes after work! Plenty of time on the weekends for hikes and playing as well
