Pet care experience
I come from a family of animal lovers - we have rescued 4 dogs throughout the years. I’ve been a pet sitter since before Rover - my first dog walking business started on Capitol Hill in 2012. Since then, I’ve cared for many cats and dogs of all sizes and temperments. I’ve had the privilege of being Coco’s mom (chihuahua mix) for 12 years, until I lost her from diabetes in June 2023 ❤️🩹, she was my soul mate! I truly enjoy the company of animals.

Steph is amazing! Not only did our pups have the best time while we were away but we had complete peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. I make sure to allow dogs and cats to trust me by learning their temperament and reading their cues/signs. I will walk, exercise, or socialize as much as needed to ensure your pet receives the attention and care they need. As a house sitter, I am orderly, tidy, and respectful of your home. I will maintain their usual routine as closely as possible.

A typical day
Morning, mid-day, and evening walks. Play time with toys. If permitted, socialization at dog parks. I use “sit”, “heel”, and “stay” commands. I make sure collars and leashes are put on properly to maintain safety on walks.

Availability
I work full-time at an education non profit in Manhattan on a hybrid schedule with about 30-40% remote. I’m able to maintain a 3 walk per day schedule along with all feeding, playtimes, and breaks. On weekends, I’m happy to explore dog parks or go on hikes.
