Foster mom, animal rescue volunteer, big sister, IT Services Director and life-long dog lover! I have experience with puppies and puppies (Senior dogs). I live alone, in a ground floor, single-story 2 bedroom condo which I own myself. The complex is dog-friendly! My unit is rear-facing and in the back part of the complex, so it is nice and quiet. I have my own entrance, just steps from a well maintained grassy area, and a back patio that is perfect for catching some afternoon sun and supervised squirrel watching! I have hardwood flooring throughout, with cozy area rugs and a nice open floor plan. I work as an IT services director and have been with the same company for 10+ years. I have worked from home full time for the last 8 years and have a flexible schedule that allows me to be home all day, everyday! I have a sun-filled home office/guest room equipped with a welcoming dog bed and a comfy sofa. See pics of my home on my profile! When it comes to taking care of your pet I have tons of experience with breeds big and small! I have raised puppies myself and have done house training, leash training, and obedience training. I am fully comfortable with the needs of a puppy as well as a senior dog. I have had dogs with mobility issues, and I am familiar with giving medication including oral meds, ear and eye meds, and topical ointment. I am also able to accommodate dogs with special diets including fresh cooked food. #ChefSteph I am used to taking care of senior dogs, and understand the importance of being aware of the challenges they might face day to day. I had a sassy female boxer named Pebbles that just passed in September 2023. She developed cancer, arthritis, separation anxiety and incontinence as she got older. I made sure my home and lifestyle was accommodating to her needs and I am committed to ensuring your dog has a comfortable and enjoyable stay as well! I also would like to mention I have an SUV with a dog friendly cargo cover and restraint harness for extra safety. Nose art exhibit is free of charge! As a homeowner myself I understand the responsibility of maintaining a home. If you need me to water your plants or collect your mail while you’re away just let me know! In addition to fostering I process foster and adoption applications, do meet & greets, and assist with marketing, fundraisers and events! • I had a 30 gallon fish tank for years & can feed your fish! • My grandmother was a seamstress and I grew up knowing how to sew - which saved a handful of favorite dog toys over the years :) • I can give baths and trim nails for those pups that can tolerate the drummel! • I am more than happy to send picture/video updates and FaceTime you if you would like! • I am a NJ native born and raised. Grew up in Bergen County and moved to Monmouth County in 2020. • I have a large extended family and enjoy the responsibility that comes with being the oldest of all the siblings!
