Pet care experience
When my friend asked me too look after her chicken(yes you read that right), I realized I needed to do what I love, spend more time with animals! Walking animals is a great way to help the fur babies get their exercise as well as help me with my fitness goals, its a win win all around! I graduated with a Veterinary Assistant Diploma from MBC in 2014. This helped me make more informed decisions for my pets and made me more confident in taking care of others pets as well. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby!

Steph made my first time using Rover a great experience! She sent multiple photos and wrote a detailed account of what happened during both visits each day I was away on vacation. She also went above and beyond by staying longer than was expected of her, which I’m sure my 2 cats very much appreciated 😻

Steph is so kind and patient with both our pets (cat and dog) ! Our dog is especially needy and high strung, but Steph works hard to win her over and our dog loves Steph and is quite relaxed with her. I always feel so confident leaving the pets with Steph because she is so responsible and caring.
Steph did a great job looking after our cat again! Very reliable, great communication and best of all showed a lot of care for the cat. Definitely recommend!

I have had my fair share of timid and shy cats and dogs. I understand pets need to take their time in getting to know someone. I will let them take as much time as they need, while encouraging them to come say hello with treats, my voice or toys depending on the animal. I enjoy senior dogs and cats and take my time with them. They are my favourite dogs to care for and walk. Despite their age, they can still have some sass and I aspire to be the same at an older age.

Please let me know of any: - Allergies - Dietary restrictions - Temperament around humans and other dogs - If they are prone to tiring quickly - Basic commands they know - Toys( or comfort toys) to bring with them on walks And of course, anything else you feel would make them feel safe and comfortable.
A typical day
I love to let pets sniff and explore the world around them, taking in all the smells and stopping as many times as they like! I have all the patience in the world for a pet to take their time enjoying their surroundings. Depending on where we will be, Ill google local hot spots for dog parks where they can splash around in the water, meet other interesting dogs and creatures(squirrels, birds, etc.) or depending on the dogs needs- walk for a bit and I can carry their royal highness the rest of the way. If a pet has a special spot, then that's where we are going!

Availability
I have a regular dog walk from 11am - 1pm everyday. However, anytime after that, I would be more than happy to schedule you in for a dog walk or a check in. I do prefer afternoon or evening bookings as I work best during those times. I will always try to keep my calendar updated to show availability.
