Pet care experience
I just don’t think that there’s anything better than having a pet in your life! They’re always there for you, and they make us so happy! That selfless happiness has always inspired me to give back to them however I could. This is what led me to become a full-time pet sitter. Although I love being around pets, I also know how much care they need to thrive. I love being able to bring a smile to an animal’s face, and it’s so nice to give owners peace of mind as well.

This was my first time using a dog sitter and Stella made the experience a good one. She’s very attentive and provides occasional updates. She provided me piece of mind and I’d definitely consider booking her in the future.
This was my first time using anybody, but my own family as a dog and housesitter. As with most pet owners my dog, Sofia, Is like my child. I don’t like leaving her and if she were a better traveler, I would take her everywhere I go. That said the Rover app made the process pretty easy. I found Stella who came and did a meet and greet. Sofia, who is an anxious dog, liked Stella right away. Stella was good at communicating with me and sent me an update on Sofia each day I was away. In addition, I came back to the house looking exactly the way I left it. As Stella packed up to leave when I arrived home, it was clear that Sofia felt attached to her. This was a good experience all the way around and I would definitely hire Stella again.
This was such a wonderful experience we had with Stella housesitting our fur babies! She was prompt, attentive, and very easy to work with. She took great care of the dogs, was neat, and she exceeded expectations. I was super nervous even considering a pet sitter and we have never left our dogs with anyone besides my parents but she made us comfortable always giving us updates and taking pictures of the dogs. We will definitely use her again!
This was my first time using Rover for my pets. I was happy with the service that Stella provided especially since i didn’t know what to expect from Rover. Stella communicated frequently and was punctual. I would definitely recommend her as someone who is responsible and delivers good service.

My service area is within 20 miles of my home in Tamarac - cross-streets close to me are N Nob Hill Rd and NW 80th St. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a Meet-and-Greet (M&G). M&Gs are a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pet and your care expectations. No one knows your pet better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pet tick! Finally, I just love meeting new animals! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence, here to make friends, and I’m sure that we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I have completed Pet Sitters International’s COVID-19 Certification for Professional Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers. Feel free to ask me about seeing proof of my certification.

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: When would be a convenient time to schedule a Meet-and-Greet (M&G)? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pet have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Is your pet spayed/neutered? Is your pet up-to-date with vaccinations? Does your dog like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pet?
A typical day
One of the best things about having a dog is that you get to explore with them! I love being able to get out and about with pups, so your pooch and I will do our best to discover all the fun stuff around us! Since I’ll mostly be looking after pups in their own home, we’ll enjoy going on long walks together while having lots of fun! Pups that like a lot of exercise will feel right at home with me.

Since pets don’t have “normal business hours,” I’m here to make sure that your pet has care right when they need it. *Note: My Holiday Rate will apply for all Rover.com recognized holidays as well as Broward County Schools Winter and Spring Breaks.
