Pet care experience
Hello all, My name is Stella, and I have just moved to Fort Worth, TX. I’m originally from Tennessee but have lived in Alabama and Washington D.C where I began dog sitting a few years ago. I made wonderful connections with dog owners and dogs alike while working up there. I hope to continue doing that in Fort Worth. I took a break from dog-sitting to get acclimated to the city and ready to meet some new furry friends. If selected to care for you pet I can abide by whatever protocols you prefer while in your home. I am keen on making this process as easy as possible for you if you do need someone to pet sit and will follow your lead on whether staying overnight is the best option. Stella is amazing! She went above and beyond to take care of our kitty while we were on vacation. There wasn’t a time I was worried because I knew she was in good hands. She sent multiple pics to us which made us even more relaxed while away. We are so thankful to find Stella and will always welcome her into our home moving forward. Our kitty already misses her! ?

I always keep a careful eye on the pet to ensure they are staying out of trouble, especially if they are known to do so. I monitor food and water intake as I check in to see if there is anything odd occurring and always note anything that happens in the house to the owners.

Any quirks your dog may have is appreciated upfront! I can be an over communicator, so I like to know what I’m working with when it comes to pets. Dietary and sleeping habits are especially important as well as how they handle separation anxiety and how long they can be left alone in case of emergency (I need to run out/I have plans already approved by owner/etc.)
A typical day
I love to play with whatever toys the pet has! Walls are great as well as pet enrichment with other pets if possible/recommended. Dog parks were a regular for my DC clients.

Availability
I work full-time, so most care would occur on the weekends or evenings. I would most likely have lunchtime availability as well but would not be able to always guarantee this time.
