Hi! I love animals of all kinds. My first job was in a veterinary hospital and I grew up on a farm. I have experience with a range of pets from dogs to chickens and everything in between. I work part-time from home so have a very flexible schedule, love staying active with dog-walks and play with both cats and dogs, and am very tuned into animal needs of all kinds. If I'm in your home, I care for it as my own, and am neat and tidy. I'd love to connect with your pet and become one of their humans. They'll be in loving hands.

My dog had a wonderful time at Stephanie’s doggie hotel! He got to play a lot and go on lots of adventures. When I got to see him after 8 whole days!!! I could tell Theo had a good time and was less worried with us being apart. This goes along way!

I feel the most important priority when caring for a pet is to be consistent with owner care with extra love to soothe any anxiety while their main person is away. If your pet is crate trained then I will adhere to crate rules, if they're allowed on furniture then we'll snuggle up on the sofa, if not then I'll meet them on the floor. It's all about making sure they feel the love and owner care/rules are respected.

Outside of all of the basic care information I like to know how they are with other dogs, especially when they're on a leash. I never take another owner's dog off of the leash and sometimes dogs get a little more aggressive when they're on a leash. I also like to know what the dog likes for playing- ball play or tug-of-war, etc. And if there are special home comforts that will make their stay feel more like home .
A typical day
I live a block from the Pebble Beach fire trails so am in the woods throughout the week. Dogs love it! I also love beach time and soaking in our glorious coastline. My back yard has lots of great nooks and smells and room to play. And, at the end of the day if it's cool out the fireplace gets fired up for quiet time in front of the fire. Heaven.
