Stefani Is the best with my pets . I've had her come over a couple times a week to check up on my dogs . She always goes the extra mile to make sure that they are nice and tired before she leaves . She cares and loves for them as if they were her own . I highly recommend her!

Safety, trust & environment

Certainly, the way I care for pets can vary depending on whether I'm providing services in my home or in the client's home. Here's a breakdown of both scenarios: Caring for Pets in My Home: 1. Welcoming Environment: If I offer boarding or pet-sitting services in my home, I ensure that my home is safe and welcoming for the pets. This includes securing any potential hazards, such as toxic plants or chemicals. 2. Comfortable Accommodations: I provide a comfortable and designated space for each pet, complete with bedding, toys, and food and water bowls. I aim to create an environment that closely resembles the pet's home routine. 3. Supervision: I maintain close supervision, especially if multiple pets are in my care. I monitor their interactions to ensure safety and prevent any conflicts. 4. Feeding and Medication: I adhere to the pet's regular feeding schedule, portion sizes, and dietary requirements. If needed, I administer any medications as prescribed by the owner. 5. Exercise and Play: Daily exercise and playtime are essential. I engage pets in physical activities and provide mental stimulation to keep them happy and healthy. 6. Socialization: If the pet is sociable, I facilitate positive interactions with any other pets in my care, which can include playdates and group activities. 7. Routine Maintenance: I maintain the pet's regular grooming routine, including brushing and baths if necessary. This helps keep them comfortable and healthy during their stay. 8. Communication:Regular updates and photos are sent to the pet owner to keep them informed about their pet's well-being and activities. Caring for Pets in the Client's Home: 1. Familiar Environment: I respect the pet's familiar surroundings and routines. I aim to replicate their daily routine as closely as possible. 2. Feeding and Medication: I adhere strictly to the owner's instructions regarding feeding, medication, and any dietary requirements. 3. Exercise and Play: I engage the pet in activities they enjoy, such as walks, playtime, and exercise, to maintain their physical and mental well-being. 4. Housekeeping: I keep the pet's living area clean, including regular litter box cleaning for cats or waste removal for dogs. I also maintain the cleanliness of the entire home. 5. Security: I ensure the pet's safety by securing gates, doors, and windows to prevent escapes or accidents. 6. Socialization: If the pet is sociable and enjoys company, I provide companionship and interaction. For dogs, this might include visits to dog parks or playdates with other dogs. 7. Health Monitoring: I keep a close eye on the pet's health and behavior, noting any changes or signs of illness. I have a plan in place to contact a veterinarian if needed. 8. Emergency Preparedness: I am prepared for emergencies, with contact information for veterinarians and backup caregivers readily available. In both scenarios, my primary goal is to provide a safe, loving, and enriching environment for the pets in my care while respecting their individual needs and preferences. Clear communication with pet owners is vital to ensure their peace of mind and to address any specific requirements or concerns.

A typical day

I believe that a happy dog is a well-exercised and mentally stimulated one. When I'm looking after your furry friend, you can expect a range of fun and engaging activities tailored to their personality, energy level, and preferences. Here are some of the activities we might enjoy: 1. Daily Walks:Regular walks are essential for exercise and mental stimulation. We can explore your local neighborhood, nearby parks, or nature trails, depending on what's most comfortable and enjoyable for your dog. 2. Playtime in the Yard: If you have a secure yard, we'll have plenty of playtime outdoors. Games like fetch, tug-of-war, and even agility exercises can keep your dog entertained and active. 3. Interactive Toys: I bring a variety of interactive toys to keep your dog's mind engaged. Puzzle feeders and treat-dispensing toys are great for mental stimulation. 4. Socializing: If your dog enjoys the company of other dogs, I can arrange playdates with friendly and compatible canine companions. Socialization is not only fun but also important for your dog's social skills. 5. Training Sessions: If your dog is in need of training or enjoys learning new tricks, we can incorporate short training sessions into our routine. Positive reinforcement methods help reinforce good behavior and provide mental exercise. 6. Nature Adventures: Depending on your location and your dog's comfort level, we might venture to nearby dog-friendly beaches, lakes, or hiking trails for a change of scenery and a refreshing experience. 7. Cuddle Time: For dogs that prefer a quieter time, we can have some relaxing cuddle sessions. Many dogs appreciate a good belly rub or simply being close to their human friends. 8. Homemade Treats: I love baking dog-friendly treats, and with your permission, I can whip up some homemade goodies for your pup to enjoy during their stay. As for special places I like to go on walks, I often seek out serene nature trails or dog parks with secure, enclosed areas for off-leash play. However, I always consult with you first to ensure we're going to places that both you and your dog are comfortable with. Your dog's safety and happiness are my top priorities, so I'm flexible and adaptable to your dog's needs and your preferences.

As a dedicated pet care provider, integrating pet care into my daily and weekly routine is essential to ensure the well-being and happiness of the animals in my care. Here's how pet care fits into my schedule: Daily Routine: 1. Morning Routine: I begin my day by tending to the pets in my care. This includes feeding, providing fresh water, and taking them for a morning walk or exercise session. 2. Midday Check-Ins: For pets that require midday attention, I schedule visits to ensure they get a bathroom break, exercise, and some interaction and companionship during the day. 3. Afternoon and Evening Care: In the late afternoon and evening, I engage in another feeding session and spend quality time with the pets. This may involve playtime, training sessions, grooming, or simply cuddling and socializing. 4. Administer Medications: If any pets require medication, I ensure that they receive their prescribed doses as per the veterinarian's instructions. 5. Regular Communication: Throughout the day, I maintain open communication with pet owners, providing updates and photos to keep them informed and reassured about their pets' well-being. Weekly Routine: 1. Exercise and Enrichment: I plan various physical activities and mental stimulation exercises for the pets throughout the week. This might involve longer walks, trips to the dog park, or exploring new environments. 2. Grooming and Hygiene: I incorporate regular grooming and hygiene routines into the schedule, which may include brushing, bathing, and nail trimming. 3. Training and Socialization:For dogs that require training or socialization, I dedicate specific sessions during the week to work on obedience commands and positive interactions with other pets and people. 4. Health Check: I conduct weekly health checks to monitor the pets' overall well-being, including checking for any signs of illness or discomfort. 5. Errands and Supplies: I allocate time for restocking pet supplies, such as food, treats, and grooming products, to ensure that I have everything necessary to care for the pets. 6. Emergency Preparedness: Regularly reviewing and updating emergency plans and contacts is an important part of my weekly routine to ensure I'm ready for any unforeseen situations. Flexible Scheduling: I understand that each pet has unique needs and that some may require more attention, while others may be more independent. I am flexible in my scheduling to accommodate these individual requirements, ensuring that every pet receives the care and attention they need to thrive. In summary, pet care is not just a job for me; it's a lifestyle and a commitment to the well-being of the animals I care for. I prioritize their needs and integrate them into my daily and weekly routines to provide a safe, loving, and enriching environment.
